What is the difference between a polar covalent and a non polar covalent bond?

A covalent bond is polar if there is a difference in electronegativities of the two atoms involved. For example, the H-F bond in hydrofluoric acid is polar because F is much more electronegative than H. Whereas the bond in molecular hydrogen is nonpolar since both atoms have the same EN value.
