I have an old ac heat pump. One wire is loose and I don't know where it goes. It is tan with a white line.

there are 6 wires on a silver thing about the size of a drinking flask with 3 4 pronged connectors and that is where the one wire is loose. I have a picture but I don't know how to get it on here. Any ideas?
