Christians: Are "church works" considered by God as Kingdom building?Does He bless you for "church works"?

Do you think God honors laboring in your local church as a part of kingdom building...[ for example: being a praise & worship leader, planning programs and events for the church (like Easter skits, Christmas plays), cleaning up the church, participating and contributing to anything church related (donating money, working with children's ministry).] I call those "church works", does God bless people for faithfully serving the church ministry, or is He only concerned about evangelical work?
