How do I stop an iTunes download permanently?

I downloaded a TV show season on itunes. After it downloaded a few episodes, I decided I really don't want the rest of them. I right clicked and deleted all of them off of my downloads section. Now whenever I download something from itunes, those episodes that I did not let itunes finish downloading show up in my downloads. I keep right clicking and deleting them, but they reappear whenever I download something new from iTunes. It's nice to know that since I paid for those episodes, iTunes is trying to get me to finish downloading them, but I really don't want to wait 8 hours for them to finish. Is there a way to permanently get rid of those downloads without downloading them? I'm tired of seeing them! I don't want them!
