Need help on getting OUT of the navy!?

It's actually pretty easy to get out if you haven't shipped to basic. Tell your recruiter you changed your mind. He'll probably throw all kinds of arguments at you but, trust me, they can't actually do anything. It'll basically be like you were never there. My suggestion though is get the job you want and go ahead and join. Tell them you won't go unless you get it. You may have to wait longer for job to open up, but oh well.
